Mark Wastell : multi-tracked violoncello
Pre-existing Commitments is a composition comprising of four multi-tracked violoncello parts. Each of the four solos were recorded during Mark’s monthly Cello-intern residency at the gallery.
The individual solos were then layered upon one another, without edits, to create a richly textured, quasi-orchestral arrangement.
